Over the past decade, the dlr Festival of World Cultures has grown into Ireland’s largest and most-loved intercultural celebration, inspiring up to 250,000 people per year at home and recognised as one of the best world music and arts festivals internationally.

This year is our 10th Anniversary, and we are celebrating this journey both as a festival and as an intercultural society through another outstanding programme of concerts and club nights, theatre and dance performances, exhibitions, film, markets and workshops.

Bringing up to 250,000 visitors to Dún Laoghaire over the festival weekend and worth in excess of €10 million to the local economy, the dlr Festival of World Cultures is integral to the profile and economy of Dún Laoghaire and the surrounding areas. Through patronage of the festival, you will be nurturing the ongoing development of this contribution, while also making a positive statement on integration in Ireland.
